Exciting News for Job Seekers! Germany to Offer 90,000 Annual Visas for Skilled Indian Professionals

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the deepening partnership between India and Germany at the 18th Asia-Pacific Conference of German Business 2024. Emphasizing the strategic relationship's 25-year milestone, PM Modi noted that Germany will now issue 90,000 visas annually to skilled Indian professionals, up from 20,000, to strengthen Germany’s workforce and boost mutual growth.

PM Modi underscored that the partnership is progressing across multiple fronts, from economic forums to naval exercises, with German ships currently visiting Goa, and that the upcoming seventh round of inter-governmental consultations will further solidify ties. "India-Germany friendship is strengthening in every sector," he stated.

He also welcomed Germany’s "Focus on India" document, a blueprint from the German Cabinet that envisions the two democracies working closely for global good. "The trust Germany has shown in India’s skilled workforce is remarkable," he said, expressing confidence that the increase in visas for Indian talent would invigorate Germany’s growth.

With India-Germany trade surpassing $30 billion, PM Modi encouraged German businesses to "Make in India, Make for the World," as India emerges as a global manufacturing and trade hub amid diversification efforts by international companies.
